Centre staff visit Isle of Mull
23/02/2010

During our short visit to Mull we took advantage of one of the local wildlife & birdwatch Safaris that operate on Mull and sure enough within a short time we could not believe that we were stood 100 meters away from two adult White Tails sat on a sand bar looking out over a tranquil loch.
Everyone of our four days on Mull we spotted Eagles either White Tailed or Golden, a truly amazing experience. not to mention the otters, Harriers, red and fallow deer we also saw.
Unfortunately we missed the opportunity to visit the Mull Eagle Watch hide at Loch Frisa, the hide pictued above is now open all year round.
